Judith J. Li, is a Partner at Lilly Asia Ventures (LAV), based in Hong Kong / Shanghai and focused on early and growth stage investments across biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and diagnostics both domestically and cross-border. Judith holds board appointments at a variety of LAV’s portfolio companies including Nextcure, Crown Biosciences, Just Biotherapeutics, and Veritas Genetics. Her prior experience includes McKinsey’s New York office, hospital administration at Partners Healthcare, and co-founding an interventional nephrology medical device venture. Judith holds a B.A. in Neurobiology from Harvard and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and currently resides in Hong Kong with her husband Ben, splitting her time between Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the Bay Area.

NT Cheung is the Head of Information Technology & Health Informatics and Chief Medical Informatics Officer of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HKHA) and also the Consultant for eHealth for the Hong Kong Government.  He has taken HA from a virtual “green fields” site to today’s situation where clinical information systems have become ubiquitous and indispensable in the care delivery process. His current work focuses on taking the Hospital Authority’s Clinical Management System (CMS) on a generational leap to the next level of computerized record system functionality to improve the already world-class facilities in the CMS for the documentation and effective management of disease.

With over 25 years of clinical experience Dr. Cahana is Senior VP at TRT International and the newly formed TRT International US Ltd. He works with State and Federal agencies on policies to improve health care and reduce opioid-related deaths, is a Subject Matter Expert for the Department of Defense and the Veterans Administration and consults multiple companies and start ups on how to integrate digital technologies and digiceuticals into healthcare.  He is a Professor in Science, Technology and Health Studies at the University of Washington and teaches Healthcare Redesign at the Pratt Institute of Design in NYC.  Dr. Cahana has published over one hundred publications and received multiple awards, among them -- the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Best Practice, the Association of American Medical Colleges Innovation Health Care award, and the University of Washington President’s medal for remarkable leadership, social impact and public service.
